Home Preparation

For Real Estate Photography

We've prepared a Home Preparation Guide to make hosting a photo or video shoot as painless and successful as possible. We recommend you complete this guide before our team arrives at the home, allowing for an efficient experience for the agent, homeowners and our team.

Having a home that is staged and cleared of items can help sell the home faster, and make your brand and listings look that much better.

My Story

How to prepare your home for Twilight Photography

  • Park vehicles away from the house - down the street or in the garage

  • Turn all lights on inside and outside the house including pool and spa (no flood lights)

  • Blinds down and open/window treatments pulled back

  • Turn off all inside and outside fans

  • Place garbage and recycling cans inside the garage

  • Spa and water features on

  • Outdoor gas fire areas lit.

It's important to note that while certain small things can be taken care of in post-production, the same thing cannot be done for video. If the above items are completed before we arrive, your listing will jump off the page and impress any prospective buyer who comes across it.
